Inflight WiFi is a lottery: same airline, same route, and one aircraft has Starlink while the next has a satellite dish from 2012. ConnectScore turns each airline’s fleet rollout into one number from 0 to 100 — your odds of getting the good system, and whether it’s free once you’re on it. For United and Alaska we go a level deeper: per-flight odds, right on the booking page.
Best odds of good WiFi first. The score credits only the modern high-speed system (Starlink, Amazon Leo) at full weight — legacy satellite service counts for less, and signed-but-not-yet-flying deals count zero until the hardware is in the air.
